CONGRATULATIONS to our MATH STARS!

We are already working extremely hard in math class. Everyone is doing a great job and adjusting well. The following students have earned the award of MATH STARS: CAITLYN COLLINS, JACOB BENE, and ANNE HINGLE.

The MATH STAR award goes to students who show excellent work ethic, complete the homework assigned for the entire week, and/or show excellent progress in Accelerated Math.
Congratulations to these students and continue to work hard. Each of you are off to an excellent start.

Question of the Week: Nov. 17- 21

1. Ana and Mike are grocery shopping for canned soup. Chicken noodle is 2 cans to the right of split pea. Split pea is 4 cans to the right ofvegetable. The vegetable soup is the last can on the left side. To the right of chicken noodle is minestrone. Minestrone is the last can on the right side. What is the fewest number of cans that can be displayed?

2. The Bodacious Booters played 13 soccer games during their season. Here are the points they scored in each game: 3, 5, 1, 0, 8, 2, 1, 3, 3, 1, 4, 5, 3 . Find the average number of points they scored. Show your work.
